CUSTOMER SERVICE/SALES DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Customer Service /Sales Development Manager will have the primary responsibility for managing the relationship between the retail customer and company’s supply chain/logistics function. This process begins with the receipt of customer orders and involves all planning and execution steps through final delivery of the product to retailer’s warehouse or distribution center.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Process inbound orders and schedule deliveries
• Review purchase orders for accurate pricing, quantities, ship/delivery date, etc.
• Communicate required changes to customer in a timely fashion
• Resolve customer service issues and inquiries as they occur
• Work closely with sales department to communicate customer needs and act as a sales development resource to sales
• Work with system applications such as EDI, Retail Link, Partners Online and effectively manage the data in support of customer order/shipment/delivery needs
• Participate in meetings with sales and management team to communicate customer service issues and resolution recommendations
• Prepare required sales and customer business reports as defined
• Provide sales analytical support as requested
Position Requirements:
• 3 to 5 years customer service experience preferably with a food or CPG company
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Candidate must have a strong customer service orientation
• Ability to multitask and work with minimal supervision
• Experience with Walmart Retail Link preferred
• Excellent telephone skills with the ability to solve problems
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
