Sales Analyst
at Navarre Corporation in Minneapolis, Minnesota
The primary objective of the Sales Analyst is to contribute to maximizing in-store sales performance by continuously monitoring and adjusting replenishment and sales data on a daily, weekly, monthly, and annual basis. The position will assist the Account Manager in analyzing market share data to suggest future direction of products as well as identify strengths and weaknesses in the different categories within Wal-Mart, Inc. utilizing store of the community reporting, market basket analysis, ad-hoc reporting and NPD data.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Maintain Wal-Mart store-level required in-stock at 98.5% minimum
• Write SSO's for initial item shipments and store-level inventory issues
• Store of the community Sales reporting in Retail Link
• Verify proper annual forecasts inserted in WM system as well as recommend needed adjustments
• Monitor POS Forecasts for accuracy
• Help with new item set-up (New Item Form creation, Priority Flags activated, Initial Orders, etc.)
• Maintain item cross reference chains
• Provide additional support through ad-hoc reporting
• Recommend strategies to resolve in-stock issues (DD's, PBI's, Forecast adjustments, WM System Review Time, Case-pack sizes, etc.)
• Organize and Maintain Event Calendar
• Assist with preparation of materials for meetings
• Maintain PO Register
• Assist WM Store (returns, orders, etc.)
• Enter and manage modular returns
• Create Mosaic monthly sales reports
• Manage markdowns and marketing pass-throughs
• Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
• 4 year degree preferred
• 2+ years of experience
• Retail Link experience
• Analytical skills
• Strong multi-tasking ability
• Detail oriented with proven follow-up skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
• Demonstrated excellence in both oral and written communications
