Full time Position as WALMART RETAIL LINK ANALYST needed for a well-established company specializing in manufacturing and importing affordable home fashions. The job location will be based in Mississauga, Ontario.

The retail link analyst will have primary responsibility to optimize Sales and Inventory for Wal-Mart through Retail Link. While maximizing opportunities to drive sales and improve On-Hands via thorough analysis and strong relationship building with internal and external team members. Additional responsibilities include ad templates, item creation, and other customer related analysis and ad-hoc reporting.

Ideally, candidate should possess:

• Proficiency in Retail Link and CPFR

• Post-secondary diploma/degree; preferably in business and/or equivalent of 3 to 5 years industry experience in sales and/or forecasting analysis

• Strong ambition and problem solving skills, and enjoy digging deep into the numbers. Strong ability to analyze data, identify issues and generate solutions

• Advanced skills in all MS Office products, with demonstrated expertise in Excel

• Excellent oral and written communication skills and attention to detail

• Ability to multi-task, thinks creatively, and works in a team environment

Duties of this position include all reports and business maintenances on customers’ business webs, generating quotes and support to sales staff, business development and client relations/order handling.

Main Duties/Responsibilities:

1. Downloads sales reports from customers’ business websites and writes weekly inventory replenish scripts.
2. Generates import and domestic pricing upon request based upon each customer’s individualized buying structure.
3. Prepares/assists sales staff with customized proposals.
4. Submit pricing to manger/CEO for approval
5. Ensures all sales presentation materials (samples and proposals) are properly sent and received for meetings.
6. Follows up after sales meetings.
7. Confirms customer orders and purchasing terms.

Experience and Skills Required:
1. Must be proficient in Excel (Intermediate to Advanced); knowledge of Access is helpful
2. Minimum of 2 years Retail Link experience
3. Able to handle pressure and meet deadlines

Job Responsibilities:

• Analyze and coordinate inventory management across multiple distribution center networks and store formats; coordinating the timing and tracking of the movement and arrival of merchandise across the supply chain; identifying order exceptions, disruptions, and supply chain that will impact supply chain execution; and developing and coordinating a resolution
• Contribute to achieving financial results for merchandise categories by participating in cross-functional projects to meet strategic financial plans; leveraging analytics to make recommendations; modeling future inventory plans against supplier capability; delivering key performance metrics; and communicating objectives and results of financial and operational performance to internal and external Management
• Demonstrates up-to-date expertise in replenishment and apply this to the development, execution and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others; supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs
• Provide and support the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders

Minimum Qualifications:
• Internship or one year of experience in the fields of supply chain, logistics, industrial engineering, replenishment or computer science
